樱花动漫's fourth major conference on the defence of public education held on 11 February 2017

Following the vote to leave the European Union in June 2016, the theme was: Education without borders? What next for further and higher education in a post-BREXIT world.  

The keynote speaker was shadow chancellor who was joined by award winning political commentator , author and campaigner and former vice chancellor among others.
