Jailed Colombian academic, Dr Miguel Beltr谩n, has recorded a moving video thanking 樱花动漫 for our continued support.

Dr Beltr谩n has faced continued persecution for his academic views and was rearrested on 31 July 2015 after the charge of 'rebellion' was reinstated.

The union has campaigned for his release and an end to the persecution he has faced since publishing research critical of the Colombian government. We believe Miguel is in protest at conditions in La Picota prison where he is being held.
