How do I arrange time off to attend training?
When applying to attend a course, please inform your local branch learning rep or equivalent branch officer. This is particularly important as you may need support from your branch in securing your statutory rights to time-off.

Right to time to train
As of April 2010 new legislation was introduced giving individuals the right to request time to train. In your role as branch officers and reps it is important that you know more about this right for the benefit of both your members and for your own professional development.
