The main issues around lesson observation for ӣ members remain broadly the same as they were in 2009 when ӣ guidance on lesson observations was published. What has changed is the increasingly draconian way that lesson observation is being conducted. Below you will find a link to newly revised and summarised guidance on lesson observations for branches including guidance on the latest phenomenon walk through observations or learning walks together with a bargaining checklist for negotiating agreements on lesson observation procedures. Also linked is a campaigning resource card for posting on the classroom door that has been used effectively by branches campaigning against unannounced lesson observations.
